- EMPLOYMENT
REQUIREMENTS:
Please recognize/understand that you must be fluent in
English and/or Spanish( if you're working with a Spanish
speaking client) in order to complete the Orientation and
Training process required by the State of Arizona and be able to
work with English speaking clients. If you do not speak
English it will be difficult for you to work with a client who
only speaks English. If you wish to work with a family
member/friend who speaks the same language you speak, but it is
not English or Spanish, please contact the office about
one-on-one language specific trainings. If you have any

Before you are hired by H.O.P.E. Group you must complete the following:
1.
Article 9 and
Health and Safety
tests (Information packets will be given and tests will be administered on training and orientation day)
2. C.P.R and First Aid Training
You may take one of the classes

schedule. Or, if these dates do not work for you, you may go to
any instructor lead class.

IMPORTANT: You must have adult CPR and
First Aid, but we prefer a combination of adult/child. We will not accept certifications from an online class; your class must be
instructor lead.
If you choose to take the HOPE Group class, it
will be free to you and your card will be property of HOPE
Group.

5. Attend an A.B.A. Training & New Hire Orientation: Trainings are held at the HOPE Group Office. Please call as far in advance as possible to schedule this, as classes fill up quickly.

* You must submit all completed and signed forms, as well as complete the requirements
prior to receiving a hire date.
Please note:
- The ABA training and hiring orientation will take about 8 hours
in total. You will be filling out employment forms and going over the rules and regulations.
- If you submit timesheets prior to receiving your hire date from us, you will not receive payment for the hours worked.
- In accordance with H.O.P.E. Group’s monthly reimbursement schedule from DDD,
we pay on a semi-monthly basis.
- Pay Rates: Respite pay rate is currently $9.00 per
hour and Habilitation starts between $10.00 and $12.00 per hour
- up to $14.00 per hour, based on education and experience.
Habilitation Communication, Habilitation Behavioral and
Consulting service pay rates are dependent on education and
experience.
